Administration Assistant
Full-Time | London
A fast growing tutorship company is looking for a dynamic, fun loving and driven administrator to join their administrative team at their London office. As an administrator will be reporting directly to the head of administration and assisting with the daily running of the office.
You will also:
- Liaise with clients including; taking their tuition enquiries by phone; Understanding their tuition requirements; finding them suitable and available tutors on our books; talking them through those tutors and making sales; touching base with them regularly to check tuition is going well; dealing with any financial or administrative queries they may have, etc.
- Liaise with tutors including; requesting and processing their ID, qualification certificates, references and DBS checks; discussing potential new jobs with them; discussing their existing work with our clients/tutees and making recommendations for lesson improvement where appropriate; dealing with any financial or administrative queries they may have, etc.
- Liaise with applicants for admin/tutor positions including answering their queries about Titanium Tutors and the specific job requirements; reading through their CVs and applications; consulting with the director about their suitability for the role; arranging interviews, including liaising with the interview assessors)
- Handle payments including; sending invoices to clients, making payments to tutors/suppliers, confirming receipt of payments from clients, chasing up late payments from clients, answering financial queries from tutors/clients/suppliers, etc.
- Contribute to the development of procedures for the more efficient running of the company.
- Report technical faults to the website development team, and occasionally liaising with them about functionality improvements/enhancements, or new functionality.
- Ensuring that the office is safe and tidy. Liaising with the property manager about any problems or requests related to the office.

Desirable but not required
- Strong academic background
- No previous work experience required, however, experience in teaching, working within an educational institution, or similar organisation will be an added advantage.
