Bookkeeper

Full-Time | London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly team of accountants providing a full range of bookkeeping services to clients. As a bookkeeper you will work as part of a very productive team to provide first class service to the clients.

To succeed in the role you will:

• Have experience working as a Bookkeeper on a regular basis within a Practice environment, including: sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, trial balance, VAT returns, EC Sales Lists and CIS returns;
• Have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Sage (experience of working on Xero would be an advantage);
• Have experience with a good range of client industries and turnovers from £1M and in excess of £5M;
• Demonstrate the ability to satisfy a diverse range of clients to tight deadlines;
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative, with excellent organisation and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• AAT qualified (to Level 4 or equivalent)

Skills:

• Experience of partial exemption and operating with a cloud based accounting system would be preferable.

The successful applicant must hold a full driving licence and have the use of a car as the office is inaccessible by public transport.
